Donation of Medical Supply Kits Made from Upcycled Work Uniforms
POSCO FUTURE M repurposes discarded work uniforms into medical supply pouches for donation. In 2024, as new uniforms were introduced, the previous ones—originally destined for disposal—were upcycled into into pouches, contributing to resource circulation and environmental protection.
Green Dream Environment Camp
POSCO FUTURE M operates the Green Dream Environment Camp to educate children living near its business sites on the importance of responding to the climate crisis and protecting the environment. Since its launch in 2013, we provide experiential learning opportunities to underprivileged children from the local communities.
Global Volunteer Week
POSCO FUTURE M organizes the ‘Global Volunteer Week’, a special week of volunteer service for employees both in Korea and abroad. All employees participated in a range of activities tailored to each business site.
Cleanup activities for Oceans
POSCO FUTURE M is committed to preserving marine ecosystems and continuously managing and protecting coastal ecosystems through its Adopt-a- Beach Cleanup Program. Since September 2023, we have adopted Cheongnim Beach, located near its Pohang headquarters, and has carried out regular cleanup activities including waste collection and planting of the marine vegetation.
Soccer Class for Future Generations
POSCO FUTURE M is operating the Soccer Class for Future Generations program in the Gwangyang region in collaboration with Jeonnam Dragons for the 2024/25 season, following its earlier partnership with the Pohang Steelers.
Sharing Bread for Elderly Individuals Living Alone
As part of its efforts to prevent social isolation and unattended deaths among the elderly living alone, POSCO FUTURE M has been carrying out the ‘Bread Sharing Program’ since 2021 for approximately 2,000 elderly residents in the Donghae and Cheongnim areas of Pohang. Every month, employees personally participate in delivering bread and checking in on the well-being of the seniors through home visits.
