The name POSCO Future M embodies our commitment to driving global transformation (Movement) through competitive components (Materials) and taking a leading role (Management) in shaping tomorrow's prosperity (Future).
POSCO Future M took its first steps half a century ago as a specialized refractory materials company with the establishment of POSCO Pohang Steel Works. Since then, we have contributed to Korea's industrial development through our basic materials business, including quicklime and chemical products.
Recently, we have established ourselves as an eco-friendly future materials company with a robust business portfolio, expanding into battery materials, such as cathode and anode materials, which will be central to the future mobility industry.
Despite growing global uncertainties, POSCO Future M will maintain a keen awareness of market changes, allowing us to uncover new opportunities. We will secure outstanding manufacturing competitiveness through continuous innovation for stable operations and enhanced productivity.
Furthermore, POSCO Future M will focus on leveraging our capabilities to create superior products that delight our customers. This includes expanding our product lineup from premium high-nickel cathode materials to mid-to-low-price standard products, as well as developing customized refractories for eco-friendly steelmaking processes.
